Frodsham powerhouse Overton whitewashed Stobart Stadium A 9-0 – Ian White 79-34 and a commanding display from Chris Achilles 102-12 included a 52 break.
Fords A are still flying high after an 8-1 drubbing of Simms Cross A – Ste O’Hare 88-25 and Pat Horne 11-2 with dynamic performances.
HGSC B were routed 8-1 by Farnworth A – Alan Johnson 87-18 and Ste Ainsworth 64-42.
WCC A also remain in contention with an impressive 7-2 home win – John Dale77-38 and Danny ‘Who’s the daddy’ Morris 73-41.
The Irish Club demolished Fords B but just missed out on the handicap by six points – They eventually ran out 6-3 winners thanks to power packed opening duo Declan Cassidy 81-28 and Jimmy Murray 114-24.
RAOB continue their run of form winning 7-2 for the second week running – Opening Father/Son combo Ste ‘Albert’ Ratcliffe 74-30 and John ‘Harold’ Ratcliffe 71-50 with Scrapping wins.
In a re-arranged fixture the whipping boys of HGSC B gave out their own whipping as they shocked Fords A 6-3 – Gary Rowlands 94-19 and Terry Cartwright 70-22 with vital wins.
The match of the week came between Widnes Cons A and St Bedes – League leading St Bedes ran out 6-3 winners – John Hartshorn 73-50 inc a 42 break, Brian Kennedy 64-47 inc a 48 break. (Breaks for the losing side came for Callum Malloy 36, Tony Cook 44 and Andrew Housley 68).
Division Two
USC gained a much needed 8-1 win at the expense of Stadium B – Andy Cotterill 79-33 and Neil Whelan 69-20.
Millbrow A easily brushed aside Village B 8-1 – Norman Locke Jnr 79-29 and Ashley Birch 69-31 easing them to victory.
Unfortunately their B team couldn’t match their A team counterparts as they were thumped 7-2 by Jekyll and Hyde side WCC C – Leon ‘The Beast’ Hosking 63-22 and Simon ‘Hot Dog’ Haste easily accounted for Wez.
HGSC A were also 7-2 winners – Alan Dunn 72-41 and Ged O’Brien 72-43.
Widnes Cons C maintain their challenge after cruising home 7-2 – Colin Grindley 77-30, John Rowan 73-45 and Mr Respot Phil Henderson 72-40.
Birchfield B edged past Corporation A 6-3 – Wayne Hewitt 86-26 and John Hallsworth 80-48.
St Josephs B won a tight encounter 5-4 – Middle combo Eric Baker 66-37 and Eddie Szczotok 63-32.
Birchfield C were also 5-4 winners in an even tighter match – James Condron 67-60 and Alan Clarke 63-35.

Village C upset title chasing Widnes Cons B 7-2 – Paul Skitt 76-19, Lee Case 81-30 and Ste Allen 88-38.
In a re-arranged game Birchfield A were also 7-2 winners against new boys Runcorn Cons C – Geoff Cookson 65-33 and Paul ‘Smigger’ Smith 54-32 with vital wins.
Birchfield A doubled their tally as they beat Reform B 7-2 also – Ian Sharples 65-50 and Cliff Dicks 55-25.
Corporation B impressed against Stadium D 6-3 – Anthony Rawlinson 53-42 and Rob Woods 68-21.
Runcorn Cons C faired much better in the second match of the week as they beat Oddfellows 6-3 – Dean Bentley 98-51 and Ste Edwards 105-16.
WCC B brushed aside WBC 5-4 – Dave Robinson 40-23 and Joe Parry 37-30 winning the hard way.
RWMC shocked Farnworth C 5-4 – Mike Ellison 54-38 and Andy Relph 59-46.
Prescot Reform A crept past Farnworth D 5-4 – Ray Baldwin 67-13 and Ged Jones 101-33.

Table topping WBC beat WCC 5-2 –Callum Malloy 100-62 and Ian Lowe 100-33 giving them a cushion at the top.
Farnworth B gained a much needed win against Widnes Cons B 4-3 – Hughie Farrell 100-43 and John Pinder 100-60.
Widnes Cons A and Simms Cross A could only manage a 3.5-3.5 draw – Mark Smith 100-37 for Cons and Eric Baker 100-50 for the Institute.

A sensational ‘Leading Break’ of 98 from Stalwart Frank ‘The Machine’ Pennington helped RAOB beat Stobart Stadium A 7-2 – Stu Cosgrove 89-71 and Ray Dutton 22 clearence the other contributors.
St Bedes stay top after their 8-1 win – John Hallsworth 118-16 including a 35 break and John Mercer 90-17 including a 42 break.
Farnworth A had a 6-3 home win – John Chamberlain 83-31 and John Davenport 66-62 impressed most.
Fords B beat last years Champions St Josephs A 6-3 – Mark Carew 71-49 and Ernie Griffiths 48-36.
Runcorn Cons A beat a strong Overton side 6-3 – Ian Atherton 85-34 and Eric Fairfield 61-50 doing just enough (John Hughes 53 break and Geoff Brassington57 both in vain for Overton).
WCC also beat a strong side in Village A 5-4 – Jack Webb 79-46 and Dave Loseby 57-42 with big wins.
Irish Club took a 5-4 victory – James Murray 71-33, Mike Chester 93-29 and Dave Newton 40 break proving too strong for their opponents.

USC were 7-2 victors against leaders Millbrow B – Brian Woodrow 65-41, Howard Jones 57-27 and Dale Roberts 57-31 in a one sided match.
Birchfield C beat HGSC A 7-2 – Paul Condron 83-34 and Alan Clarke 70-41.
St Josephs B were also 7-2 winners – Les Goulden 93-13 and Mike Whittaker 68-37 both in fine form.
Millbrow A won their match 7-2 – Norman Locke Jnr 77-26 and Tony O’Neil 70-28 the pick of the bunch.
WCC C had a 7-2 home win – Leon Hosking 90-15 and Dave Wood 64-39 taking the plaudits this week.
Corporation A were again 7-2 winners – Andy Freeman 69-26 and Kenny Cunningham 60-48 last on.
St Basils thumped Simms Cross B 7-2 – Barry Lane 63-42 and Mike Ellis 59-29 the stars on the night.

Title challenging Farnworth C could only manage a 5-4 win this week against Runcorn Cons C – Jamie King 67-60 and Brian Cafferty 62-36 helping towards the victory, whilst the best frame of the night went to Dean Bentley as he demolished his opponent 106-2 and knocked in breaks of 16, a league topping 51 and a 36 clearence in a flawless performance.
Village C had a 7-2 away win – Mike Constantine 70-34 and Paul Skitt 68-26 in a strong team performance.
Stobart Stadium C also won 7-2 – Mark Ogburn 87-17 and Dave Jones 82-24.
Prescot Reform B beat WBC 7-2 – Ste Evans 81-53 and Ian Furbanks 55-38 amongst their winners.
Birchfield A were 6-3 winners at home to RWMC – Cookson brothers Maurice 76-56 and George 72-30 shone on the night.
Widnes Cons B won 7-2 – Tony Grant 74-44 and Leo Milne 67-27.

Widnes Cons A stay in contention with a 5-2 victory – Tony Grant 100-46 and John Tighe 100-46 putting in big performances.
Simms Cross A had a 4-3 away win – Kev Marsh 100-50 and Peter McGloin 100-65 amongst their winners.

Underachieving Village C made short work of high flying Millbrow B – Lee Case 67-17, Shaun Parry 62-56 and Ste Allen 71-16 rounding off a massive win.

Farnworth D went away to Widnes Cons A and came back victorious thanks to an all round good performance culminating in Stu ‘Johnny Bravo’ Swift’s 45-40 frame win.
WBC scraped through mainly thanks to two drawn frames – M.Hughes 37-37 and Roy Syze 44-44.
Corporation B continue to show their metal as they thumped Birchfield B by 150 points – Brian Mercer 85-48 including a 27 break and Dave Hanley 60-38 the pick of the bunch.
Birchfield C beat WCC C – Alan Clarke 73-56 and Paul Hilton 63-35 doing enough to see them through.
Simms Cross B beat Simms Cross A – J.Evans 80-11 and A.Morris 65-31.
HGSC B narrowly beat Birchfield A in a hard fought match – Opening duo Ste ‘ The Wanderer’ O’Connor 102-26 including a superb 59 break and Barry ‘The Plunderer’ Connor 83-45 getting them off to a flyer.

Corporation 'A edged past St.Josephs'B 7-2. Mike Harrison 78-47 & Mark Freeman 71-28 doing more than enough. WCC'C only managed a 5-4 win but were indebted to skipper Peter Foster 53-31 & skippy Simon 'Less Speed More' Haste 56-49 to take the spoils. HGSC'A came home comprehensive 7-2 winners thanks to Andy Ryan 98-26 & Phil Slavin 59-38 who are finally starting to shine. SimmsX'B won 6-3 surprisingly at challenging WidnesCons'C. Main men this week were Carl Minshall 97-18 & Ste 'Deirdre' Barlow 61-28 which ensured they are now sitting pretty on top of the dung heap. 'Eye-Ore Donkeys' Farnworth'C led by inspirational, cross dressing closet case captain won 6-3. The final duo Paul 'Priscilla Queen Of The Desert' Williams 63-27 & Clive 'Anus' Rimmer 68-43 spanked their opponents.
